Question Upgrading from Note8 to Galaxy 24 Ultra

Hello:
I can wake up my Note8 by pressing the bottom of the screen. With the S24 Ultra that doesn't seem to work any longer. I have to press the button on the right side of the phone to wake up the device. Just checking. Is there an option I missed or is this the new norm?

There's 2 options. The first is "double tap to turn on screen" which is in setting>Motions and gestures, I have no idea if this is on or off by default. The second is to set up fingerprint unlock. You can unlock the phone with the screen turned off by using the fingerprint reader.
