S4 Broken- phone's non responsive? LCD replacement?

So I dropped my S4 and it landed flat on it's screen. The glass didn't shatter, but when I try to turn on my phone, the screen flashes yellow but then cuts out. The notification light and back/menu lights turn on when I try to turn on my phone though, and I can tell it's still working because I whatsapp loaded on my laptop before I dropped my phone and I can still send and receive messages from whatsapp web, so I guess whatsapp is still running on my phone hence it's still working.. will replacing the LCD display mean that my phone will be back to normal again?

Unfortunately it's not possible to make a remote diagnosis. Bear in mind that the drop may have done damage other than that to the screen.
