I've looked around, and can't seem to solve what should be a simple problem...
Android is good about alerting when there's an "open" WiFi network available. Problem is, lately "open" doesn't mean "open," if you know what I mean. Example: Everywhere I go in my municipality, there is an "open" network named "xfinitywifi" which is, of course, not open at all but only for Comcast users who must log-in before using. I'd like to tell my phone to ignore ANY network named "xfinitywifi" (in this example, there are others operated by various ISPs that act in this same way) so it not only doesn't alert me to an "open" network, but doesn't "see" the things at all.
Thoughts?
