My phone died while waiting for a facebook message, now i can't access the keyboard on my phone.??

[AC Question]

so i was awaiting a message through the facebook messenger app, and the message was taking a really long time to come through, so i touched the screen and as soon as i did, it turned off and wouldn't turn on. Now I've got it charging and everything, but no matter what, i can't access the keyboard. Ive tried emails, notes, facebook, text, you name it. Theres no problem with the touch screen because that area on the phone still works, just the keyboard won't come up\

any help??? please!!

Which phone do you have? Have you tried downloading a different keyboard from the Play Store?
