AC Question

Usually every 0.5-5 minutes my Phone Crashes and Restarts. This Event Has Kept Occurring Since The Update This Week. I have not Been able to Use my Phone Since. Is anyone else having this problem? Is There a Way to Fix It? I've Tried Doing a Factory Reset and It Gives Me the Current Update, unfortunately I forgot to write down all of my Contacts. I am Thinking about Visiting the T-Mobile Store in my area to Fix this. Do you guys Know anyway to fix it before I go to my supplier.

If a factory reset doesn't do it (that should clear the cache too), the update may not have gone all the way. Go to Settings/General/About device/ and tap Android version repeatedly (it should take 4 or 5 taps) until a lollipop or a circle comes up. If it's not a lollipop, touch it. If that still doesn't give you a lollipop it's a bad update, and TMobile will be able to reflash it for you. (If you get the lollipop, it's not an indication that the update was good - it's a one-way test.)

As for your contacts, ALWAYS enter contacts as Google contacts, not Device or Phone contacts. Then they'll be at Google Contacts and the phone will sync to that. (Even if you accidentally delete the wrong one, you can recover any contacts deleted within the last 30 days from the site, and they'll sync back to the phone.) And no, Google employees aren't going to go through your contacts and steal your dentist's number. People who do that end up making license plated for a living. (Google is pretty strict about security.)
