I have not used Android since Gingerbread but just got a work phone that's a current Android phone. Since it has my secure corporate email on it (or will once the support folks help me get it set up), I need the PIN to always show whenever it wakes. When I enter my PIN I have to click the little Check mark under the "9" key before the phone unlocks. Is there a way to disable this? I mean - I just entered my PIN, the phone read the number. On my personal phone (Windows Phone 8) when I hit the last digit of my PIN and the PIN was correct, it unlocks the phone. Android is very customizable - is there a way to disable this extra step?
I know it's just a minor annoyance, but the cumulative effect of many minor annoyances like this is why I went to Windows Phone from my old Gingerbread Android.
