Why do some letters need more pressure to press with the pen on Galaxy Note 5?

For some reason the letter D on the QWERTY board on my Galaxy Note 5 requires more pressure with the pen to type than the rest. The letter F and S are a little less difficult to press. Not sure why this is happening

Do you have a flip cover case on your phone? If so, perhaps it has a magnetic closure that's affecting your screen. If you do have such a case, remove it for a few days and see what happens.

Other than that, it's possible the digitizer is messed up in that area. Since the phone is new, I would return it for a replacement. You shouldn't have to live with any defects in your new "very expensive" phone.
