Why won't my videos from my gallery upload on instagram? S5

[AC Question]

I can take identical videos (one with the camera and one using instagram) but I can't upload the video from my gallery to instagram. I can see the video in instagram and select it but I press the blue arrow button in the top right corner and nothing happens. Just nothing. Can't access anything from the gallery, or anywhere else for that matter.

If I try share directly from google photos it just says "we could not process this video".

No issues with taking videos via instagram app.

Also not working for downloaded videos, like edits from my computer.

Formats are mp4.

I'm operating 5.0 and just updated instagram.

Please help.

I'm having the same issue on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 non rooted running Lollipop 5.0. My videos from my gallery and videos made using the Instagram app will not post. They show they are loading, but at 50% they start all over. Eventually it says the video failed to post. I've tried clearing the cache and data, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and rebooting didn't help. The issue still persist. I've sent numerous emails to Instagram and sent feedback and bug reports. Instagram will not respond.

I just got a Google Pixel and am having the same issue. A saved MP4 from snapchat will not upload to Instagram no matter what I do. Did you have any resolve with this?

It's evidently an Instagram problem (on their server) so no one here is going to find a solution.
