AC Question

My onboard memory is 16GB but only 496MB is free. My SD card has 13.07GB available space but when I try to add a new app I get a message saying that I don't have sufficient memory. How can I make use of my SD card?

Depending on what OS you're running, Android disabled moving entire apps to the SD card. However, you can move "some" of the App. Not exactly sure how much of the app will be moved, but anyways... If you look at the App info, if it's able to be moved, then the "Move to SD" button will NOT be greyed out. If the button is not greyed out, you can move the app to SD. Note that if you move the app and you change your SD card, the app will not work anymore.

Android takes about 8 - 10GBs for system operations, including it's own apps and bloatware. With 16GBs on your phone, that doesn't leave much space for your own stuff. I imagine you have photos, possibly videos, and music on your phone. Move all vids, photos, and music to the SD if they're not already there. Also, change your camera storage to the SD card so all photos go there directly.
