one core is disabled

A

AC Question

I have installed CPU-Z 1.15 and GeekBench 3.

Sometimes CPU-Z displays
"Cores: 3 (4 CPUs)" (normally is "4")
"Architecture: 3x ARM Cortex-A7 at 1.3GHz" (normally is "4x ARM Cortex-A7 at 1.3GHz")

And one core is constantly stopped.

When this happens Geekbench multicore score is around 900, but when CPU-Z displayes "real" values on Cores and Architecture i get a multicore score around 1200.

Obviously one core stops for no apparent reason and it is completely disabled no matter what i do no matter if the battery is fully charged, and then it is enabled again (for no apparent reason).

Is this normal ? Should i do something ?
