Not charging.....WHY?

[AC Question]

I have a Galaxy S5, it's at 12%. I put it to charger but it keeps saying I'm not using the original charger when I clearly am. I need my phone to charge seeing that I have my first day back in class tomorrow and need it for class. How can I fix this and ASAP?

First, try a different USB lead.
Also, make sure that the USB port is clean, and the connector undamaged.
