There is a wierd spot on my touchscreen.

So I had put my phone in my pocket while travelling. After reaching home, I saw there was a small weird spot on the lower half of the screen. It is not a blue spot, but it looks like the thing that comes on the screen when you press it too hard. Please help... Its my brothers phone and I have to return it to him next week.

Please post a screenshot, or take a photo of it and post that. It may be damage caused to the display by local overheating.
