Why is my phone not typing the right letters?

[AC Question]

My Huawei Ascend Y99 isn't working right. The problem is that when I try to type in my password it doesn't work. When I go to type the last letter, which is 'y' it doesn't work, instead of typing 'y' it does a space. I have tried turning my phone on and off, restarting my phone and taking it apart and putting it back together but it hasn't worked. Is there any way I could fix this?
