LTE Band Question (with regards to Moto X Pure)

AC Question

I'm relocating from NA to the EU at the end of the year but need a new phone now. I ended up ordering both a Moto X Pure and a Nexus 5X. I like the size of the Nexus and some of it's features better, but I like other features on the Pure. However, features aside, I'm curious about the LTE bands and want to make sure I'm understanding the specs correctly. According to Motorola, the pure supports the following:

GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ (850, 900, 1700 (AWS),1900, 2100 MHz)
CDMA (800, 850, 1900 MHz)
4G LTE† (B1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 25, 26, 38, 41)

Now this covers my tmobile service in the NA just fine. For my destination country (Luxembourg) wiki states that the LTE bands for the 3 carries is 1800/3 (freq/band). Does this mean that because the pure supports band 3, it will get LTE speeds in Lux? The rest of Europe seems to be using 1800/3, 800/20, and 2600/7. It looks like the pure will support the first but not the second (no band 20). But what about the third? It has band 7 but not GSM freq 2600, so does that mean it won't support 2600/7?

I will be getting an EU work phone, so I'm not worried about general coverage and I want my mobile to still be fast with data in the US during my frequent trips back, so this is why I'm considering the pure.

Sadly it looks like the 5X may only support band 7, which is not what is used in Lux so I'll probably have to cancel my order.

Thanks for the help!
