Samsung Tablet will not Turn off, or boot up, or access the Recovery Menu.

AC Question

My Tablet, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1(Not rooted, all stock) has frozen on me.

I use my Tab regularly every day, so I'm kinda freaking out right now. I set it down for a moment and came back and turned the screen back on and it blinked and showed the start up screen, but it will not load up past that.

It has frozen on the "Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1" screen. I have looked high and low on how to unfreeze it. I've tried to soft reset and Hard reset with no luck.

I've tried to get to the stock recovery menu multiple times, so that I can factory reset it, but I can't do that because it won't turn off all the way. It just takes me to the ODIN menu.

So far, I can't get anything to work.

Welcome to Android Central! How are you trying to force the shutdown? For Samsung devices, you typically have to hold Power and Volume Down together for 15-20 seconds, until it shuts off.
