Need to detect Samsung se-208gb/rsbd with android. How?

What do I need to do to get android to detect that Samsung se208gb/rsbd dvd burner? I can power it but not detect it.

You'll need an OTG cable - and there's no guarantee that you can read from it even then. (Make sure it's a 3 port or better OTG cable if the drive is powered through the USB connection, so you can power it externally.)
