why did i do a master reset and it is still asking for email that was in the device before the reset

just did a master reset on a samsung edge 6 and it has restarted and is not letting me put my information in the device keeps stating log in with the email used in the device beforebut i just purchased it so im not sure about what email is showing and it gives me no other options
