Alarm widget deleted but still active

[AC Question]

I accidentally deleted my alarm widget on my S6 with a daily recurring alarm set. Note, I cannot disable it. I tried putting the widget back on my home screen and that just allowed me to set a new alarm. The old one is still there and won't go away. I cannot find it to disable it. Help?!?

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried a reboot and started over with setting the widget?
