Transfer email photo attachment to gallery

Re my acer iconia one 7. How do i transfer an email photo attachment to the gallery?

Welcome to Android Central! Tap the photo so that it's fullscreen, then tap Menu>Save. Or long-press the image, then tap the Save option. It should download to the Downloads directory, which should automatically appear in your Gallery. If you'd like, you can use a file manager app to move that photo to your Pictures directory, or any other directory of your choice.
