How do I get rid of these Cartwheel pop-ups on my S5?

Just starting getting pop up ads from Target Cartwheel on my Galaxy 5. Have tried Adblocker, AVG and Avast with no luck.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you actually have Cartwheel or the Target app installed, or are these appearing independently? Are they only occurring when you're browsing, or even on the homescreen, or when using other apps?

Independently. Do not have Target or Cartwheel app installed, or at least I didn't install it, and it does not show up in the list of Applications. Appearing in browsers, email, games, etc.

Just started to get the popups for Twitter and Lyft also.

It sounds like some bit of adware that got installed unwittingly, alongside some other app. You might have to uninstall apps one by one until it goes away.

If this was a rider on an app I installed, would it really go away just by uninstalling the app?

If it was actually part of the app, then yes.

Found the little bugger. It was in a Volume Boost app I found on either Google Play or Amazon.

Great! Can you post a Google Play link so that others know exactly which app it is, so that they can avoid it?

Done. But do you have the link for that particular app? There are quite a few called "Volume Booster," and maybe a few more called "Volume Boost."
