Will Marshmellow solve current GPS problems with 5.1.1?

[AC Question]

Since some months my GPS keeps placing me at 31, rue Villiars in Paris. I live 600km.south,of that point. Resetting with GPS Status app. works for 30 minutes, after that I seem to live in Paris again.. Sony Xperia Z2 tablet with Lolipop 5.1.1
Especially heavy problems since returning from a trip to Italy. All GPS based apps seem to have the same problem, Google Maps, Here, TomTom etc.
Would Marshmellow solve the problem? Anyone knows when the rollout for Sony would be (they claim october..) or any other clever suggestions, girls/guys?

What device do you have? I have had 5.1.1 on multiple devices without issue with gps
