Samsung Galaxy A3 frozen, will not turn off, reboot, factory reset, nothing works

[AC Question]

Hi all,

Have only had this phone a few months. Using it as normal today and it straight up froze at 1:18pm. It's over two hours later, phone is still frozen.

Trying to turn it off, reset, factory reset etc, nothing works,

Tried connecting it to PC to reinstall drivers but getting MTP USB error, I need the device to turn off so I can fix the error but it won't... and no I can't remove the battery.

Please help asap!

Welcome to Android Central! To force a shutdown, press and hold Power and Vol Down at the same time for about 15-20 seconds.
