phone case is twisted and is causing the touchscreen to malfunction

The touchscreen of my phone sometimes doesn't work. The picture is fine and everything else about the phone is fine except it sometimes doesn't pick up my touches. Once you've got it working it will keep working until you stop using it and turn the screen off. We've narrowed it down to the case being bent as it is bent and when we twist it back the phone works. Also when I knock the phone a couple of times it works. In not sure what to do from now. I can't find a replacement screen as it is an ecoo eo4 3gb. Would appreciate any help.

It sounds to me like there may be a poor electrical contact or a grounding problem or short circuit, causing occasional malfunction of the digitiser.
