Why can't I transfer pictures from phone to computer anymore?

I transferred pictures from Moto G8 to HP computer using USB. For some reason, I can't transfer anymore. When I plug in my phone, nothing happens-nothing shows up on my computer screen. I recently uploaded windows 10.

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, which phone? The Moto G?

When you plug the phone into the computer, do you see a USB notification appear in the status bar? If so, swipe down and tap it, then make sure MTP is selected.

If you don't see the notification, then try a different cable, since cables can unexpectedly fail.
