Why wont rca tablet connect to wifi

[AC Question]

I own a RCA 7 Voyager II tablet that won't connect to my wifi at home. All my other devices such as my laptop, phone, and my sisters's tablet( same exact brand of tablet I own), will connect to the wifi at home. It says I have full bars of wifi, but when I connect it either says "Avoided poor internet connection" or "Authentication problem". I have restarted my router and my tablet about a thousand times already. It will connect fine to other networks in public but not at home. Please help.

Have you tried "forgetting" the WiFi network and re-adding it? Is your router firmware up to date? If you turn off encryption (remove password) from WiFi, does it connect?
