Samsung s3 I9305 factory reset/restore problem, need help.

phone was working fine, I did a factory restore as I was give phone to son, and wanted to clear all my data, however now on start up,when setting phone up again, it keeps saying 'unfortunately, google account manager has stopped' plus other similiar messages of things stopping and I cannot restore. Phone recently had latest samsung s/w upgrade a few weeks ago, Ive been on kies and phone is at current f/w level. Help anyone??
