Is there a way to make an image of the Android and its apps

We have several Android tablets at our Library that we want to make available to the public for check out. Is there a way to "re-image" the tablets when they come back to remove personal information from our Patrons?

Yes, which model do you have?
Usually with android you can turn the tablet off then restart by simultaneously holding down the power, home button and volume up button all at the same time until the green android robot appears on the screen. Then press the down volume button to go to reset and format tablet setting and the press power button.
This should do it.
