I have a Huawei Ascend Y330. On the Simple Home Screen, when I try to add apps, I always get this message: Unfortunately, Huawei Home has stopped.

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.

You mentioned Simple Home--is there a normal homescreen mode, and does adding app shortcut icons work there?

I have not added any new apps. In fact, my phone has been turned off. It's a Huawei Ascend Mate 2. So why have Huawei Home and System UI stopped. What is System UI anyway?

Am Ragunath,am using huawei ascend y635,i too facing the same home screen stopped problem even in safe mode..,so please help to sort it out!!
