error message on HTC M8 One

I keep getting the error that "Start has stopped working unexpectedly, would you like to send an error report..." on my HTC M8 One but I have no app called 'Start'.

Would anyone have come across this issue before and shed any light on it?

It means something is glitching in the software that starts up your device or the software that is responsible for your home screens. Reboot your device if you haven't already. If that doesn't help, try clearing your cache partition by booting your phone into safe mode.
