Why won't my phone connect to my computer?

So basically when I my phone to my PC the drivers don't install properly. I have an honor 6 plus and I'm running windows. I'm using the cable that came with the phone and I've tried reinstalling the drivers and searching for ones on my device.

Also when I go to settings in my phone and then storage I try to press the mount USB storage option but it's greyed out and I'm unable to press it.

I have developer mode active when the phone is connected.

OK so this is a PC problem. The key is to install the drivers what is the operating system on your PC if it's Windows 7 and app make sure you are attempting to install the drivers as an administrator then connect the telephone and check device manager in Windows to see whether it has been identified .If not right click and select properties and try to update the driver and direct it to the driver you have downloaded. If that doesn't work try an Internet search through device manager

Sorry it didn't work (same guy btw I just made an account). I downloaded the drivers from a website called Skyneel. I followed the steps but I still says no drivers found?

Also I don't think it's a PC problem because I tried it on another computer and had the same result

Try installing HiSuite HiSuite - Android Smart Device Manager - Huawei Device., Co Ltd..
