Should I install Cyanogenmod on my S5 or wait for 6.0 OTA

I bought this used S5 at a bargain and still works nicely but I don't like Samsung's bloat, almost all gimmicky features disabled, rarely used multi-window, I don't like the Gallery App that's slow to load

I am new to installing Cyanogenmod on my devices and this would be my first time. Should I opt for installing CM or wait for Samsungs 6.0 OTA for the S5? I'm after better performance and battery life on my S5.
