Since the latest update, I now get a sort of "pre-screen" AHEAD of my lock screen. It looks like the wallpaper on my home screen but only the wallpaper. There is no way to swipe this screen away. It won't move. The only way to get rid of it is to restart or push the back button. THEN when I get to my home screen, the dashboard is frozen so won't slide down. I always end up restarting. How do I get rid of this?!

If your phone allows it, try a Cache Partition wipe.
Safe Mode may also be worth trying.
