How do I move apps and their data to the SD Card?

I have a Moto G 3rd gen on Marshmellow. I installed Final Fantasy 9 but didn't have enough storage space on my internal memory so I put the game's data on my SD card.

Problem is the game is not detecting the data so it's not starting up. I think it's looking for the data on internal storage but I put it on the SD card. How do I make it so the game works whilst still keeping all that big data on my SD card to save my internal storage?
