Why wont my galaxy edge connect to my mobile network

[AC Question]

I've had my new phone for a week and it's still on emergency calls. I've tried rebooting and taking the sim out/ putting it in again. I just called the car phone warehouse and they said that my sim is showing as connected!
Can anyone help??
