My Nook Hd + got stolen out of my locker at school is there a way to get it back?

I just need to find out if i can locate it, because i think that someone in the school stole it, so i was wondering if there was a way i could find it without checking everyones bag.

You might be able to locate it using Android Device Manager from another device. That might also allow you to lock it remotely.
