Is this strange blue charging screen caused by a virus?

I've put my phone on to charge, and have been presented with this quick charging screen. I don't have any quick charging appa installed. I've looked at the DU battery saver and fast charging app, and this is not the same.

The screen appears every so often when I wake my phone while it's charging. I don't know how to make this repeat itself, it seems to happen about half the time. Could this be a result of malware or something?

You just gave yourself your own answer. DU Battery Saver & Fast Charge is what's causing it. Hence the "DU" on your screen shot.
I have seen this with a lot of battery saver and cleaning apps.
Remove DU Battery Saver & Fast Charge and I bet it goes away

I said I do not have any quick charging apps installed. Never have. And I've looked at screen shots of the DU app and this isn't the same, looks like some kind of fake.

Seems like it was the flash keyboard app. The quick charging screen appeared in my recent apps list, tagged "Flash Keyboard"...

Yeah, I read some reviews in the Play Store and it seems that Flash Keyboard - Emoji is pushing ads on the lock screen while charging. Not nice.

DU Quick Charge is also part of a few File Manager apps. Example: if you enable the "charging boost" feature in ES File Explorer you will see the DU Quick Charge screen when your phone auto-locks.

No ads through, even with the free version of ES File Manager.

Hi there.

The DU Fast charge is an option in ES File Explorer if you have it installed. It seems to automatically give you the option to activate it if you have a low battery warning and you plug your charger in...... thought it was a system pop up at first and activated it.

took me all day to figure it out myself

Edit* I see that others have already worked it out.

Quick question - does it make any difference enabling the charging boost? Especially is you have a quick charge/turbo charge phone?

It appears as if DU Quick Charge is an app within an app. It looks like it piggy backs on other apps and then self activates. For me ES App Locker was the culprit. It happened to me this morning for the first time when I plugged in for a charge. Anything that activates itself without asking or without my explicit direction is garbage as far as I am concerned. Malware, Ad-ware, I don't care. They, and the horse they rode in on, are GONE! Google DU Quick Charge and you'll see a long list of apps this garbage has attached itself to. If you ask me, its not to be trusted.

Bottom line - if Cheetah or DU wrote it, it shouldn't be on your device. (Any company that writes a "RAM cleaner" app is just advertising that they have no idea how Android was designed. You don't need a "fast charger" app - if the phone was designed for fast charging, it has the hardware to do it. It's a hardware function, not an app. You can't add an app to a phone without fast charging to make it a Qualcom 2.0 device.)

Do you have ES File explorer? If so it has a charge boost feature which shows the same screen. You can disable it through ES file Explorer.
They Claim that it boosts charging, but I have not tested it.
The ad is annoying anyways.

I just found this Crapware on my phone! I found it was installed by an update to PHONE CLEAN. Avoid this app! I should have known better that I don't even need a RAM cleaner in the first place.

I don't even have ES File Explorer or any of the other suspected apps that install this adware. Avoid Phone Clean!

The first time I came up with this problem was when I touched the quick charging in the DU boaster a few minutes later it left a black smoke on the screen from bottom and gradually gets up and as result I hardly see anything from the screen
So plz help me removing this problem!
