I was hacked into in my aol account. I changed my password and my phone will not change passwords

There is not a lot more to say other than I don't understand why when I put the correct password in my phone, the S5 does not recognize the password. I have thought of deleting aol off my phone and reinstalling it. Is that advised?

Its certainly worth a try to uninstall/reinstall. Other than the time it takes to do it, there is no con's about it.
