AC Question
Looking for an app which records system events / where I can view events (similar to Microsoft's Windows Event Viewer)
Ideally you should be able to filter/search so you can find the event you're looking for.
At this stage the only events I really care about is the timestamp of when the phone locks and/or idle use (my definition of idle being no user interaction - no presses on button or screen etc.).
So I'd like to know what time the screen locked (e.g. 10h00) and unlocked (e.g. 10h30) -I can then calculate the idle time (30 minutes).
Any ideas please? Does such an app already exist? Even if it just logs the timestamp of pressing the power button (either to switch the screen on or off) that would be very helpful.
But I'm sure I'd like to view other system events in the future (of which there must a LOT of - e.g. Wi-Fi off, Wi-Fi on, took photo, started to record video, encrypted file system etc. etc. similar to (similar to Microsoft's Windows Event Viewer)
I'm still running 5.1.1. I haven't rooted yet but probably will when I make time... so rooted apps could also work for me
