Nexus 6P battery life reduction

[AC Question]

Hi all, I've only owned by 6P for a month or so and have noticed a reduction in battery life - both how long it stays charged and how long it takes to charge.

It's a long time since I've owned a new phone, is this normal? What can I be doing to preserve my battery?
