bluetooth intermittent with engine running

[AC Question]

I have a 32 ford hot rod and just put a bluetooth receiver under the dash with a 400 watt amp and speakers. It works perfectly and sounds great until I start the car, then it becomes intermittent. Is it possible the voltage is too much for the receiver and it's trying to go into some sort of a protection mode? I have 12.8 battery volts and 14.6 to 14.8 with the engine running, it fluctuates with the cam lope.
