Please help - can't see any image on android

[AC Question]

Hey guys, please help me. My phone (Samsung s4) lost all images (they are not in gallery, also not in any folder (DCIM, Instagram etc). My phone is also not showing any image only thumbs (for example it wont open picture from viber, or save it to phone). It looks like android don't recognize images...
I tried cleaning cache and deleting .nomedia files but it didn't help.
Do you have any ideas?

Hi, deleting files won't help, if anything it's probably made the issue worse. Did you do anything prior to the images disappearing from the phone? have you considered performing a factory reset on the device?
