Welcome to Android Central! Tubemate and any other app that downloads YouTube videos to a device violate YouTube's terms of use, which is why you can't find them on Google Play Store.

Are you saying you uninstalled the app, or just removed the homescreen shortcut icon?

Sorry we cannot help with this. TubeMate was removed from the Google Play store for various reasons (such as violating policy) and I am sure copyright infringement since you're able to steal music as mp3s from YouTube.
