why is my phone not charging after the update

i have a motorola droid turbo 2 and after i got the marshmallow update it wont charge. ive even used my old charger in a wall outlet but it wont do anything.

Try a Cache Partition wipe, and if no go, a Backup & Reset. Tell us if you need advice about backing up.
Nevertheless a hardware failure may have occurred coincident with the upgrade. Make sure the charging port is clean and undamaged.
