why can't I not get Xfinity off of my Verizon Ellipsis tablet

[AC Question]

I got a tablet from a friend to factory reset it I put it under my name and everything and all of a sudden I cannot get it to get off of Xfinity not connect to anything so I reset it again and now it says can't establish a reliable connection to server for me to do anything how do I fix this problem on my Verizon Ellipsis 7
