Always on display too dim

II really like the AOD on the S7 but recently it's sensors adjust to it being way too dim. Battery life isn't a concern to me. Is there no way to adjust the brightness or calibrate the sensors??? Always had android and love how customizable they are but very frustrating with this option. Anyone have a solution?

The only solution is to complain to Samsung which is what I just did. They really messed up the feature with their updates. It's still okay outdoors, but indoors it's so dim that it's unusable most of the time. They went overboard on dimming.
