Wifi authentication problem

[AC Question]

Every time I leave my house and come back my phone will disconnect from the wifi and say authentication problem when I try to reconnect. The only solution that I found is to restart my router but when I do that effects my tv connection as well and I have to reset my tv as well so I cannot keep doing that. I was wondering if there is anyway I can stop my phone from do this or a better solution for when it does?

I would probably try a factory reset after you back up your data/contacts. Occasional factory resets can fix lots of strange problems and keep your phone working its best.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Before you do a factory reset, you could try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data, and can help with various issues.

Have you already tried forgetting your home network on the phone, then reconnecting?
