is my lcd screen broken?

Hi,
i am trying to replace the digitizer on my galaxy tab s SM-T805Y 10.5in . Got the old digitizer off but the heat gun has made the screen go weird and like a lighter tanned colour almost and not black, just like a lcd screen exposed to sun for to long. have i damaged the lcd?
