Fastboot/kernel problems

[AC Question]

Ok, so I tried to unlock the bootloader of my LG G4C recently, and experienced no success, as it read (something like):

user> fastboot flashing unlock
............................
FAILED(remote unknown command)
finished(0.31s)

I am using Windows 10, connected to phone via usb cable, have installed the correct drivers from the official LG website, have the latest version of adb and fastboot installed on the computer.
Android version is 5.0.2
Kernel (unspecified), version 3.10.49
Not rooted.

If anyone could help me with this, I would be beyond thankful, as I do have a long road ahead of me (compiling cyanogenmod, twrp or cwm and unlocking the bootloader)
