Please help I have a LG Stylo and I purchased a slimport to connect with my Samsung tv is there a special setting I need to set my tv to. Is there a recommended HDMI cord I need to purchase. Can't seem to get it to work.

According to Slimport, your LG Stylo isn't a supported device. Are you certain it's supposed to work with your device?
