AC Question

Dear all,

First of all, sorry about my english, I am brazilian.

I have been trying to simply delete contacts numbers on my cellphone, Android 6.0 (Moto G 3rd Generation). But it seems impossible and it is driving me crazy.
I've tried all described below:

- Hard Reset
- Deleting the "Contacts App" Cache
- Removing the contacts from gmail account
- Unlink the contact from others apps and then trying to delete it
- Format the memory card
- Choose the option to only show contacts from gmail

But it didn't work, every time I restart the cellphone, the contacts are still there.
If I simply try to delete it, I receive the message: "You can't delete contacts from read-only accounts, but you can hide them in your contacts lists.".

I appreciate any kind of help.
Sorry again about my english.
Best regards,
Bruna

Welcome to Android Central! Which contacts are they? If they were already in the phone when you first got it (like, for example, the manufacturer's or carrier's tech support number), then you won't be able to remove them unless you root the phone.
